How we split Juniper logs into
firewood
This series of photos demonstrates the process!
Step one: Juniper logs are placed on the platform
Step two: The logs are cut in cross section. For firewood we cut to lengths of 16 inches. For chiminea wood, the length is reduced to about 9 inches.
The automated chain saw cuts the log into sections for splitting:
Step three: The sections are pushed through a splitter by hydraulic pressure:
Step four: The split firewood is conveyed into rows for seasoning.
Our firewood is then bagged for sale and shipment to your home.
